Well yesterday was a good day…..we were in Florence all weekend with Brody’s basketball team. They played Saturday and yesterday. We thought they played 2 games yesterday so Sophie and I decided to sleep in….since the first game was at 8…thats right 8 on a weekend……geez. I had stayed up til 5 Friday night/Saturday morning so the loss of sleep caught up with me. Little did we know that was the only game yesterday…..so we decided to drive up to Kenwood and then onto Rookwood to do alittle shopping. To start off the beautiful day, we ate at one of my most favorite restaurants…..

Sophie had their kids brunch special……I tried it for her, just to make sure it was all good….and it was. Their syrup was wonderful…even Brody agreed.

This is my all time favorite….although I have a few more that I love……this is fabulous.

So are you starving now…….I am!

Oh, just one more….this is Sophie and her daddy……while we were waiting for our food to come. Oh, we even sit out on the patio…it was such a beautiful day…..I love sunshine! 

 Sorry if the pics are not too great. I took these with my iPhone….not too bad for an iPhone! Oh, check out Sophie’s Giant headband……that was a purchase from Forever21. I really was surprised that she wanted it……she fights me about the hair bows but I guess since it was in Forever21…..it was cool……She even dressed herself yesterday with her little headband…..it was a hit…I don’t know how many compliments that she got….it was cute with her outfit…..I should have taken a pic.

Headbands are all the rage….we seen them everywhere……Forever21 had really big ones……too big for me…..cute for teens but not for me…

Our next stop was Anthropologie……. check out their website www.anthropologie.com . They have really nice clothing and their stores are amazing. I love them…..I love them! There I found me a headband suitable for a mommy.

Anthro……had lots of them. I have never been a headband girl….they give me headaches but these were very soft and really just for a little decor in your hair……I don’t know it they would hold your hair back very well. I will wear mine kinda like I would pull my sunglasses up on my head…..with a low ponytail in the back. This will be how I will wear mine. Sophie’s headband is more frilly and such….mine is more grown up…..even with the fabric that I chose for mine…..mine is a felt like fabric….hers is silky flower fabric….don’t ya love my vocabulary for those = ).

Now my next purchase @ Anthro……..and I love it…..wearing it right now!

This is a really neat lightweight sweater. I got the light blue color almost a silver…..it is alittle difficult to put on but oh so cute. There are so many ways to wear it. You can see all the possibilities……it has interest and has good camo for my never gonna be flat tummy again…unless surgery is involved ; ). I always look for layering pieces that don’t cling…….no cling for me….they must fall “lovely”…..meaning not to show any lumps or bumps. Again, this is something I would see myself wearing for many seasons as it can be put with something more trendy and be in style for several years to come.
