Well we are back. We had a great time. We love the Beach……you put me at the Beach and Life is Good….you put me at the Gulf Beaches and Life is GREAT!!!!!!!

We stayed at a beautiful home the first week along with the Royster Family…….Then we moved into a Loft for the 2nd week. Both were Beautiful. I love the architecture in Florida’s Seaside, Alys and Rosemary Beaches. We layed at the Beach and the Pools….One day we rented a kayak….Matthew and I went out to the second sandbar and seen absolutely nothing…..just little fishies…..I wanted to see some dolphins, turtles or bigger fish (no not sharks just something bigger than 3 inches)…..but nothing. Matthew then took out Sophie and Landon and they seen about 10 dolphins. They even played with them swimming under the kayak and jumping out of the water….it was so funny kayaks were following Matthew around and then came a little fishing boat too. I was so happy that they got to see them so close. Oh, I mentioned a little guy named Landon…….we took him with us. He is Brenda’s grandson. Brenda is Tim’s sister. We lost her to cancer last year. She was raising Landon. This little guy has had a hard time and we thought he needed a vacation as much as we did. He kept us laughing the whole time. Landon is very attached to Brody and sometimes shy in front of the camera…..as you will see here.
We had a great time going to dinner at new and old places. Our original plan was to stay at Seaside but we could not find something so another photographer recommended Rosemary so we thought we would give it a try. It too is very nice and very relaxing. One thing we learned is that you almost can’t go wrong with anywhere on 30A. Two days of our vacation the water was still……yes, still….we had very very very little waves and it was crystal clear. BEAUTIFUL.
We also seen Eli Manning a couple of times, he was staying in a house beside Rosemary. He was in a wedding held at Alys Beach….a massive wedding….. Of course, I had no clue who he was but oh my, Matthew did. I rode by him a couple times and still had no idea. Once I met back up with Tim and the kids…..Matthew asked me did I know who that guy was….I said no……did not even look at him…. really. Landon had wrecked his bike almost right in front of Eli and he had offered to help him…..and that’s when Matthew noticed him. I would have loved to have gotten a picture of Matthew with him but ya know…….I am sure he did not want to be bothered…..he was on vacation too….so I did not ask. I loved the part that we nestled right into the area and got to meet lots of locals and learn their stories. Most are very inspiring….where they dared to start over and try the beach life and have been so successful…..hmmmmm. I think I could love that life too=). What I love about this area….to me it is the area of dreams……so many possibilities……you dream it and you can do it…..and the scenery ain’t too bad either. I shot 7Â Beach Sessions so not all was play but hey……working at the beach wasn’t too bad at all…..already thinking that Fall Break might be a good time to do some Beach Sessions……I could use another trip to the Gulf. All the sessions went great…..I will be posting more soon.
We also made one trip to the wild side of Panama City Beach….well wild compared to Rosemary/Mayberry =). Here of shots of my dare devils kids+Landon.
