Let’s see….where to start.
Blessings Everywhere…….first of all….Life is good….. For the first time in awhile….I can say that and smile with an incredible humbleness. This photography thing about got me in the past few years and had it not been for the support and encouragement of clients, friends and God…..I would not be doing this anymore. It also confirms that I am doing what God intends for me to do….because he has made me so strong and also allowed me to lean on him and know that he has got my back. Please….know I am not perfect and really hate it when people freely throw around God’s name so I don’t do that very much……BUT……for the last few months…..I have felt like….HMMMM….kinda like that movie title (never seen the movie)……How Stella got her Groove back…..That is how I feel….I feel I have gotten my GROOVE back. For the last couple of years…..well lets just say….I made it.
I feel so new, fresh and so creative….I think I let life/people steal my PASSION.
I remember Tim telling Matthew that during basketball season….about not letting anything steal your PASSION.
Now to get to why I am posting this……As I was preparing these images for the blog……I started thinking about this family.
Leah began bringing her kids to me several years ago and we were quickly friends. She is who I want to be like. She is probably the nicest person I know. Soooo during our Christmas rush….she mentioned that she could help me if I needed any help. I said sure…..we were overloaded and I was totally stressed and I must confess that I threw her to the wolves……with really no experience other than when she has been here to do her viewings…..which I might add, has been a few : )………but she did GREAT! So she helped all during Christmas as much as she could.
Fast Forward to end of January……….
Leah walks in the studio and tells me how much she enjoyed working at the Studio during Christmas and that she would be interested in working more if I needed her. I hired her on the spot. Right There!!!!! Within one week, Leah had our office organized and a complete work flow system moving. We even have a Referral Program, thanks to Leah. I always wanted to do it but just could not keep up….but she did it. Leah has been such a Blessing to our Studio……so when I look at her beautiful family, I thank God for putting them in our lives. Tim says that she is never ever leaving….we won’t let her. She really has made such a difference in our Studio. She is incredibly sweet, honest, very organized and one of my biggest supporters. Well lets just say she is very talented cause she is more than just those few things! She just makes my work life more pleasant and that makes me a better wife and mommy. So Thank You Leah for everything.
