This story begins with his momma calling to schedule a engagement session (I had photographed her neice and nephews before…..sooooo I photographed their engagement portraits. To this day, they are some of my favorites!!!! Fast forward a couple years……Paige emails to say she was pregnant (we were so excited)…..so the next chapter of this story began…..This is little Landon……this is his debut on the blog….but I have a feeling he will appear again….I also went back and pulled a few from their Maternity Session, Newborn Session and now their 4 month session. This is the greatest part of my job is seeing a couple become a family. Happy First Mother’s Day, Paige.

Jenn is one of my biggest supporter. We have been together for a long time and I truly value her not just as a client but a friend. I have seen her family go from one beautiful little curly blonde to the addition of this sweet little boy. It never fails….I may be having a bad day and I can open my emails and there is one from Jenn that brightens my day. She is another one of those people that always has a smile on her face……well only once have I not seen that gorgeous smile and it was for Eli’s newborn session……she walked thru the door and I thought…..oh my gosh….she has about killed them all getting here….but considering all the times I have photographed this family and to only see her stressed once is wonderful. I must tell a funny story about her……I called her cell phone the other day and it went to her answering system and this is what it said…..”Hi, this is Jennifer. I have either lost my phone or I am busy, please leave me a message and I will get back with you, promise. I laughed and laughed but that is Jenn! I also want to add a few maternity and newborn to this post….I don’t think I have posted any of these if I have sorry…..but here they go again.

Also I know it is almost summer but as I was going back, I came across this…..I loved it…..and because I have photographed Jenn and her family for so long, I knew she would too!

This is little Kamden. He is just the sweetest little guy. During his session, we waited and waited for the little guy to go to sleep. He thinks he is a BIG boy. He was so alert and followed me everywhere I went. This little guy is such a little miracle for his family and we were honored to capture these moments. He is a beautiful surprise for his family! Oh, and I must mention his big sister, another miracle that mommy and daddy were blessed with. They never dreamed there would be another.

I have been really bad about posting images and while I was preparing Braxton’s images…..I came across his 8 month session and they are just so stinking cute that they deserve to be posted on the blog too! His mommy can just now….come to a session without tearing up. He was such a wonderful gift…..not that all babies aren’t but they had waited awhile for this little guy. I’ve know his mommy and daddy for a long time. I photographed their wedding years ago….they were one of my firsts….and I loved them then and still do! So here are a few from a previous session and then his 1st Birthday….oh, his momma made the cake….I did not get to take it but it smelled great…wait….I probably did lick some icing off my fingers .

Jack had such a good session. He was a trooper and any of you that know me….knows that means….I just keep shooting!
Really this family has been such a blessing to Tim and I…..first they were clients but now they are friends…..when they come…..it is hard to let them leave….honestly they are so much fun to talk to. I know I have said this before but I have been so blessed with wonderful clients/friends. I have wonderful wonderful friends and the Smith’s are one of those.
Speaking of being blessed….we had a photographer stop by today. As we were talking, this person leaned back in his chair, spread his arms and said…let me tell you whats been going on with me….and he continued to tell us a personal story that I wish I could share but it is his story…..but it was just what I needed to hear today….so often we get so busy that we forget that we can just call on God….he talked about the fishermen fishing all night and had nothing and God told them to fish on the other side…and they did it and were blessed….Thanks so much….friend .

Or should I say Lil Miss Flirty…..you see this little look?
Well, she was having some mommy detachment issues and woud not have very much to do with me…….
it kills me when they do that. Having her aunt and cousins did help alot. Thanks gals!!!!…. and then of all people….in walked Tim……and this little gal grinned and grinned and gave us some of the funniest little faces….
I swear she was flirting.
Tim wants to know why they do that when they are little and never do it again….guess I need to steal this look from Brooke and use it sometimes. LOL.

Anyway…..her session was super sweet and we got some awesome shots…..Today she and her momma came to view the rest and place their order.
So I let Leah do all the “work work” so I could play with Brooke so she would be Happy with me!…all was going well…..but then….here come Tim and again….she started that grinning…
so she likes me but not as much as Tim right now!

Another Beach Session @ Seaside. Well, that day started off alittle bit “iffy”……we did not know if were were gonna get this session done for the rain….so I pushed it up hoping to beat the rain…..well of course the sun popped out and gave me heck for alittle while…….mommy and daddy were so hot and the boys were too…..but no complaints. So when the weather gives you lemons….you make lemonade, right?????? I looked at poor daddy and the back of his shirt was wet….mommy was sporting a cast from a recent surgery……which had to be the hottest, even though she said not……she is just too sweet to complain.Â This little family is just so precious and not just pretty on the outside but the inside too. Hope you have enjoyed your vacation and talk soon.

Just noticed daddy’s hand…..will have to find another minus the hand action.

I just love these little guys!!!!!!!

Yay! Little Braxton is 4 months ~ Kentucky Children Photographer

This is Braxton……..I feel like we go a long way back…..like when his mommy and daddy got married.Â I can’t say it too many times how I have the very BEST clients in the world…..seriously….I would not trade them for nothing. This little guy’s mommy and daddy areÂ just the same! I just love them and so glad that they have chosen me to document his first portraits. Family is so important to them….always has been and this little guy is….in my opinion….got a pretty cool mommy and daddy. Just wanted top post some of my favorites….

and this is when I knew he was finished!

This is Little Miss Adelyn!!!!!!! I remember the day that I found out her momma was going to have a little girl……I was so excited. Adelyn has one of the most handsomest brothers in the world…..so I knew she would just be BEAUTIFUL and she is.Â I don’t think I have posted any of Adelyn since she was a newborn but I think this is her 4th visit to the Studio. So I decided to post several. Again, I am so blessed to have this family as clients and friends. One think I love about my job is the people that photography has brought into my life….Isn’t she just the cutest little girl…..I love those eyes and those little cheeks : ).

This is little Max…..somehow…..I created his blog debut but did not publish it…..hmmmmm…..found a couple more…..so I will try to post them too. But this little guy has these great big blue eyes just like his brother, Preston. Their momma makes the journey to London very often to have her little guys photographed and we are so happy she does.Â I am fortunate to have this family as clients but most of all…..to have as friends. This little guy’s momma is one special lady. I love her smile….it is contagious!!!!!Â You know what they say about birds of a feather…..flock together…..welll she is my kind of flock : ). Thank you for always trusting my suggestions, and just being there as a friend too. Love you guys!
