I have been really bad about posting images and while I was preparing Braxton’s images…..I came across his 8 month session and they are just so stinking cute that they deserve to be posted on the blog too! His mommy can just now….come to a session without tearing up. He was such a wonderful gift…..not that all babies aren’t but they had waited awhile for this little guy. I’ve know his mommy and daddy for a long time. I photographed their wedding years ago….they were one of my firsts….and I loved them then and still do! So here are a few from a previous session and then his 1st Birthday….oh, his momma made the cake….I did not get to take it but it smelled great…wait….I probably did lick some icing off my fingers .

Jack had such a good session. He was a trooper and any of you that know me….knows that means….I just keep shooting!
Really this family has been such a blessing to Tim and I…..first they were clients but now they are friends…..when they come…..it is hard to let them leave….honestly they are so much fun to talk to. I know I have said this before but I have been so blessed with wonderful clients/friends. I have wonderful wonderful friends and the Smith’s are one of those.
Speaking of being blessed….we had a photographer stop by today. As we were talking, this person leaned back in his chair, spread his arms and said…let me tell you whats been going on with me….and he continued to tell us a personal story that I wish I could share but it is his story…..but it was just what I needed to hear today….so often we get so busy that we forget that we can just call on God….he talked about the fishermen fishing all night and had nothing and God told them to fish on the other side…and they did it and were blessed….Thanks so much….friend .

Or should I say Lil Miss Flirty…..you see this little look?
Well, she was having some mommy detachment issues and woud not have very much to do with me…….
it kills me when they do that. Having her aunt and cousins did help alot. Thanks gals!!!!…. and then of all people….in walked Tim……and this little gal grinned and grinned and gave us some of the funniest little faces….
I swear she was flirting.
Tim wants to know why they do that when they are little and never do it again….guess I need to steal this look from Brooke and use it sometimes. LOL.

Anyway…..her session was super sweet and we got some awesome shots…..Today she and her momma came to view the rest and place their order.
So I let Leah do all the “work work” so I could play with Brooke so she would be Happy with me!…all was going well…..but then….here come Tim and again….she started that grinning…
so she likes me but not as much as Tim right now!

Here’s a little video we put together….mostly showing the studio from early construction to our Christmas open house. We’ve spent the last couple of weeks upgrading the Blog. To upgrade the Blog we had to first upgrade some things in our webhost which took a little time. But everything seems to working great….other than learning all the new features of the Blog. So the next few weeks we will be trying out some of the new features. Carletta has informed me that this year will be intregrating the blog, facebook and twitter as much as possible and of course she has given me the responsibilty to make it happen! Counting my Blessings this Thanksgiving!

Today, I have been thinking about the past year and how tremendously blessed we have been personally and professionally. Our business, even in this kind of economy, has flourished beyond our dreams and we have been blessed with good health and complete happiness. Tim even entered our business more than ever before and he has been a tremendous blessing. Our lives are good and good. Thank you God for all you have given us. This being said, we are celebrating our Grand Opening next Friday, December 4th. We would love to have all our friends come and join us. We will also be debuting some of our new 2010 Products so you can be the first to see them! Also we will be having a big frame sale too.

Carletta Watkins Photography and White and Maggard Orthodontics hosted the girls at the Studio for a fun night of fun….we fed them pizza and Brandon made desserts…then we photographed all the girls…..alot of fun. I am so proud of these girls….for what they have accomplished. Way to go girl!!!!!! So proud, I am : ). We also gave each girl T-Shirts with this quote. ” All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them”. Please overlook the webversion softness.

Well, it is that time of the year……and after an office meeting today we have decided that it is time to finish off the year…..I can’t believe it but we are almost full for the year!Â IÂ am feeling completely and utterly blessed that despite our “E”…..we have had a record year thus far. Even our first quarter was the best since we started the business….which leads me to my story…sorry rambling =)……. Last week Leah was scheduling some kids for me and I could tell she was stressed so I asked what was wrong and she said….”where do I put them?”…… I knew for the last 3 weeks that we are doing triple our normal volume but still had no clue that we were that close….but sure enough….she counted the sessions and wrote them on a post it note and handed it to me and I was shocked…..I said, “STOP!!!!! Don’t schedule anotherÂ in September tilÂ we decide what we are gonna do”. So after looking over the schedule we have 5 more full sessions available for Christmas Delivery. We might could do 1 or 2 more minis and that’s all. So we have set aside 4 days for Christmas Sessions and that is all we can do this year……so we expect them to go fast. Below is the info. for our Christmas Sessions and the date that we will start scheduling! Now if you are wondering about Halloween…….I fought hard for it….Tim says we don’t have any space for it but I loved it and so did my clients sooooooooo I WON that battle so we will be doing HALLOWEEN PORTRAITS again this year. Maybe just one day.
